Poetry in Paintingw/Carol KardonA six (6) session courseStudents will explore the various ways to create atmosphere or mood in a painting. The "feel" of a place or object is the goal.
Class will begin with a demonstration and or talk on a specific aspect of painting - color, line, shape, etc. Attention will be given to experimenting with changes and mixing color, soft edges and hard edges, and wiping out and starting all over again. Working in black and white is a definite option.
Instruction will be at each student's easel or table and questions are greatly encouraged. Remember - we were all beginners once!
Students may work form photos (color or black and white) or bring in objects.
