A Winter Morning Sketchbook
w/Margaret SaylorSaturday, February 810:00am - 1:00pmJoin us for an engaging workshop where you can explore the fascinating world of botanical art, even during the winter months when nature is at rest. This class is designed for both beginners and those looking to enhance their drawing skills. You will learn how to start your own botanical sketchbook while honing your observation techniques. Throughout the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to study a diverse range of materials, including seed pods, bark, cones, and more, all collected by the instructor and students. Utilizing basic drawing techniques, you will create lifelike and botanically accurate sketches that capture the intricate details of these specimens. Whether you’re aiming to cultivate a new hobby or improve your artistic abilities, this class promises to inspire and nurture your creativity.
