The Friends of Watsonville Parks and Community Services and the Rotary Club of Freedom are working together to coordinate the annual Strawberry Jam 1K and 5K Fun Run and Walk being held in conjunction with the Watsonville Strawberry Festival on Saturday, Aug 3, beginning and ending at our new temporary location (while Ramsay park is being renovated) at Landmark Elementary School in Watsonville. There is some repeat of the course for the 5K run.
Proceeds from this event will support the enhancement of Watsonville parks and recreation programs. Freedom Rotary will use the proceeds to invest in Flodberg Park in Watsonville.
