This workshop is a 2 part workshop. In the wire and beads jewelry session, students will learn how to select the appropriate type of wire for specific jewelry making projects. We'll go over what gauges are and what types of wire works best for earrings, pendants, and jump rings. Students will make earrings from scratch, using silver wire and beads. We'll cover how to repurpose jewelry using these skills and create an adjustable ring. The resin jewelry making session, builds on the wire making class but not a required prerequisite for the resin class. We'll use molds, uv fast curing resin, dried florals, and wire to create nature inspired jewelry. Students can make both earrings and pendants and many students create sets
Students should wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty or bring an apron. Class involves repetitive motion. Class price includes materials fee.
