Fighting Carbine 2 is a fasted paced intensive course designed with lots of movement and stress without giving up good shooting fundamentals. Accuracy under stress with movement is emphasized in FC2. Fighting Carbine 2 is designed for the individual who has a solid foundation of tactics and techniques for self defense with semi-automatic carbine/rifle. If you have never done the skills in my Fighting Carbine 1 course you may want to start there. For Fighting Carbine 2 you can run the course from concealment, a gun belt, or fully kitted with body armor. Run it how you want to fight. The topics covered in FC2 with consist of movement skills and application, movement to cover, moving and shooting, shooting from the ground, transitional ground positions, accuracy at distance, concepts and application of cover, compressed shooting positions. We will be shooting steel targets. No light armor piercing such as XM193 or SS109 steel core, no Russian bi-metal, or any other round that is not solid copper copper jacketed lead core. If you are limited we do quite a bit of work on paper so use that ammunition then. Gear: - Semi-automatic carbine/rifle/state complaint other firearm with tactical type sling. - Handgun and 2 magazines. - Holster: Strong side draw holster. No small of back, ankle, shoulder, cross draw. - Strong belt - 500 rounds rifle ammunition - 50 rounds pistol ammunition - 5 long gun magazines or more - Magazine pouch for long gun - Eye protection - Ear protection - electronic is preferred. - Chair - Water - Lunch - Blue trail has a restaurant on site which may not be open. We have 45 minutes for lunch. - Closed toe shoes - Weather appropriate clothing.
