About this event
Check out our beautiful camps with your troop or family at an open house! You'll be able to tour the camp, check out the different lodging options, talk to the camp director and other camp staff, and ask questions about camp programming and property rentals. Remember to stop by the camp shop to stock up on camp swag and visit the campfire to enjoy a s'more! This is a day event and does not include an overnight. A snack is provided as part of this event. *TRANSPORTATION OPPORTUNITY: This year we are offering a transportation option for the Butternut Springs Open House. The bus or council vans will depart from the Schererville Gathering Place at 1:30 p.m. and arrive at camp by 2:30 p.m. The Bus or council vans will depart camp at 4:30 p.m. and return to the Schererville Gathering Place by 5:30 p.m. Arrival times are estimated and depend on traffic at the time of the event. You are responsible for your transportation to the Gathering Place. An additional information will be sent in the confirmation email. This program is designed for families, troops or individuals with an adult chaperone. This is NOT a drop off event. Please follow Girl Scout ratios from Safety Activity Checkpoints.
