Kids Kollective Weekend Boot Camp: City Place Toronto Program Overview: Kids Kollective is excited to offer young tech enthusiasts aged 5-14 a unique 3-day weekend boot camp at City Place, Toronto! Guided by an expert industry leader with over 12 years of experience, kids will dive deep into Hardware Building, UX/UI Design, and Software Development. Over three immersive days, participants will gain a detailed understanding of each area, with hands-on projects and the chance to take home their very own computer that they build themselves. Details: Ages: 5-14 Dates: 3-day boot camp (weekend format) Daily Duration: 6 hours per day Location: City Place, Toronto Capacity: Limited to 40 participants Courses Include: Build a Computer (Hardware): Kids will get an in-depth, hands-on experience building a computer, learning about each component's purpose and function. They’ll take home the computer they build, inspiring curiosity about technology from the inside out. UX/UI Design: This course introduces the essentials of user experience and interface design, showing kids how to create intuitive, visually appealing layouts and understand the importance of usability. Software Development: Kids will learn the fundamentals of coding, building simple software and games they can continue to develop at home.
