Kids Kollective: UX/UI Design Boot Camp – City Place, Toronto Program Overview: Kids Kollective is thrilled to invite young creators aged 4-14 to our one-day UX/UI Design Boot Camp at City Place, Toronto! In this immersive 6-hour session, kids will explore the dynamic world of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design. Under the guidance of an industry expert with over 12 years of experience, participants will learn how to design user-friendly, engaging, and visually appealing digital layouts, mastering the essential skills needed to build intuitive and effective interfaces. Details: Ages: 4-14 Date: Single-day boot camp Duration: 8 hours Location: City Place, Toronto Capacity: Limited spaces available Program Highlights: Explore UX/UI Basics: Kids will delve into the core principles that make a design user-friendly and visually captivating, including layout, color theory, typography, and functionality. Hands-On Projects: Participants will work on exciting, practical projects, such as designing their own basic app or website interfaces. This creative process encourages them to think like designers and develop solutions with the user in mind. Take-Home Creations: At the end of the day, kids will take home their completed invention and all materials, including a fully built project they can showcase proudly. Materials Provided: All essential materials are included for use during the session. Price: $665 (includes all course materials and take-home projects) Additional Boot Camps Available: To build a comprehensive tech skill set, parents can also register their kids for our “Build a Computer” and “Software Development” boot camps. These programs provide hands-on hardware experience and an introduction to coding, ensuring a well-rounded, interactive learning journey.
