High Ropes – Open Climb (Afternoon) J, C, S, A Camp McCormick, Stillman Valley, IL $25/Girl Scout 10 min./20 max. GSNI Voucher Eligible Sun., May 4, 2025 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Register by April 12, 2025 Come out to Camp McCormick and explore the New Horizons High Ropes Course! Girl Scouts will learn about the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is used for high adventure activities and the processes involved in a safe experience as they ascend 30’ into the air on the high ropes course. Girl Scouts will earn steps toward their High Adventure Climbing badge. GSNI is backed by dedicated adults, mentors, and child advocates who put safety first. Volunteers who facilitate and chaperone our programs are fully background-checked. We also welcome family members and trusted adults to our programs. Each participant must follow all GSNI safety guidelines. We support and appreciate everyone who makes our programs safe, fun and inclusive for every Girl Scout. Troops must provide appropriate adult-to-Girl Scout ratios, and Individual Girl Scouts must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Chaperones are required to remain throughout the entire program.
