About this event
Spanish Movies and Culture Club is run by our Spanish Teacher, Ms. VanBruggen! This club is designed to immerse students in the language, art, and culture of the Soanish-speaking world. We will explore a variety of films from many different Spanish-speaking countries. After each film, we will have group discussions to practice our Spanish, share our thoughts, and connect the movie to cultural, historical, or social topics. We will also learn about the country of where the film comes from, and celebrate traditional elements in the film. The club is open to all students regardless of Spanish language proficiency. We aim to build a fun and inclusive space where students feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves in Spanish. There will be lively discussions, creative activities, and a deeper appreciation of diverse cultures.
