This is a tentative program. Registrations will be accepted if it becomes official.
The Senior Exercise Program is light chair workout sessions with standing and chair support exercises. The class goal is an effort to regain balance as well as bone density. After the exercise, and stretching the seniors walk .25 miles around the facility. The walking goal is .25 - .50 miles which equals 1 or 2 laps on the sidewalk starting at the senior garden walking around the facility to the front, and around past the library while remaining on the sidewalk. Both programs promotes social engagement, heart health benefits, boost mental health and keeps seniors active.
