Description
POTTERY HANDBUILDING CLASS: Hatherly School Art Room. This class, for the beginner or intermediate student, will explore handbuilt techniques such as pinch, coil and slab building. During the first four weeks participants will work with wet clay and try their hand at each technique, combine techniques or focus on one, depending on experience and project ideas. Week 5 participants will use a variety of underglaze and glaze to decorate their work. During the final session, we will share and discuss the results of the glaze firing and all work will head to their new home. Instructors: Jess Curtis and Laura Berton All materials included Clay, glazing and firing is built into the class cost!
