Description
Help harvest native wildflower and grass seed at this free family-friendly conservation event for National Public Lands Day Staff will provide collecting bags and instructions. Native plant seed is used to plant additional acres of prairie at Spring Valley and other Park District conservation areas. Attendees are advised to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes as they will be walking through tall vegetation. All attendees must pre-register for this free event. Minors must be accompanied by a registered adult. Ages: 5+
