Description
Good for 20 entries discount to the Swim Center. Reservations are required for lap swimming. Reservations can be made online -Drop ins are strongly discouraged, any available drop in lanes will be released 10 minutes after the reservation start time if the person reserving the lane is a no show. This would result in a maximum of 30 min of swim time for any drop in customers. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance in person, over the phone or via email. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will still be charged for a swim. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please remember memberships are per individual. Credit Card and E-check Convenience Fee Update. On October 27, 2020, the Santa Monica City Council adopted a resolution to pass off credit card / debit card convenience fees from the credit card processor to the customer. These convenience fees were previously absorbed by the City, with ActiveNet convenience fees set at 2.95% of the amount of the transaction. This change took effect on January 1, 2021. To help mitigate any financial burden that could result from transferring debit/credit card transaction fees to the community, the City has enabled the option of making payments by electronic check as an alternative to debit/credit card payments. The City will continue to absorb the minimal fees associated with these types of transactions.
