Description
White Crane Silat is an Indonesian martial art with roots in the kung fu diaspora. Our body/mind/spirit harmonizing practice begins and ends in a circle, with the breath. Flowing, nature inspired movements, barefoot sliding footwork, floor work, rolling, breathing, repetition, and partner exercises cultivate balance, flexibility, strength, relaxation, grounding, timing, awareness, memory, confidence, feeling, intuition, and flow. Practice is sometimes meditative, sometimes strenuous - acrobatics, falling, and throwing practice may be included for able-bodied students. Classes are tailored to the needs and abilities of participants. Drop-ins welcome: $25/classCancellation policy: Cancellation fee: $10.00. All cancellations must be provided in writing and emailed to csd@marinwood.org. We will not process refunds over the phone. Cancellation requests must be submitted before the session/program begins.
