OVERVIEW NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) is the foundational class for all NRA Instructors. BIT is to improve your teaching techniques and teach you how the NRA wants its curriculum presented. NRA Training Counselors teach it and classes are subject to a minimum number of instructor Candidates. NRA Basic Instructor Training is a non-shooting class taken in conjunction with an NRA instructor discipline.
NRA-CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS ARE EXPECTED TO: -Conduct NRA Basic Courses per policies and procedures outlined by NRA -Uphold the quality and integrity of national firearm safety and training standards established by the NRA -Promote firearm safety and shooting sports -Report training data to NRA
