Join with other home school families for an interactive classroom program and exploration of the zoo! Your learners will participate in an hour of TEKS supporting lessons and activities, explore biofacts, and experience an up-close encounter with an animal ambassador. Plus, a brief guided exploration of select habitats. At the end of the program, you will be able to explore the zoo with your family. These educational experiences are geared for learners ages 6 to 10 and are designed to enhance learning the following Science TEKS: 1.9.A, 1.9.C, 1.10.A, 2.9.A, 2.9.B, 2.9.C, 2.10.A, 3.9.A, 3.9.B, 3.9.C, 3.10.A, 4.9.A, 4.9.B, 4.10.A, 4.10.B, 5.9.A, 5.9B, 5.9.C So you want to be a Zoo Keeper? What does a day in the life of a zookeeper look like? Learn what it takes to care for amazing animals, prepare their meals, and help keep them healthy and happy. Get the inside scoop on what it takes to be a zoo keeper and find out how this exciting career makes an impact on wildlife conservation.
