Have fun playing and learning basketball! Athletes will be taught technical basketball skills and developmentally appropriate tactics will be used to allow athletes to play team basketball. Emphasis is on skill and athletic development while applying the basic skills to game-like situations. Practices will be on Mondays from 3:20 - 4:30 in the LS Assembly Hall and Saturdays from 10-11am in the Main Gym. Games will usually be on every other Saturday in place of practice - this will optimize the practice to game ratio at 3:1. The team will play games against local teams at a developmentally appropriate level. **Note: If we do not have enough sign ups we will combine the 8th grade boys and girls teams to create a coed team. This team would practice on Mondays (3:20-4:30) and Saturdays (11-12pm)
