Classical Ballet is not just for the young and the athletic! Ballet can be enjoyed at any age. This class is appropriate for new and returning dancers. Ballet tones the muscles, improves balance and coordination, and increases mental fitness. This class blends the “art form” with the exercise tradition. The class consists of traditional ballet barre exercises, in-the-center dance combinations, and an intense muscle strengthening segment. Please wear athletic clothing and ballet shoes if you have them available. (If you do not have ballet shoes, please were socks with texture, to prevent slipping).
