This is a different challenge, for some the biggest challenge of their lives! We are not looking for huge or drastic changes. We are looking for slow and steady changes. So it could be in the form of 30 minutes of activity and reducing your nicotine intake by 1 a day… Simple.
Stopping smoking for 28 days means you're five times more likely to stay smoke free for good.
Smoking tobacco cigarettes is harmful to your health and the health around you, not to mention the environment and your bank balance. None of these are facts that are disputed however many do still find themselves smoking regardless as they haven't been motivated enough or felt that they had the right level of will-power to quit.
Stoptober offers a wealth of support to help you achieve your goal of giving up your tobacco habit and enjoy the many health, wellbeing and financial benefits of quitting smoking.
We at Running Mad have created this challenge for the smokers and we have incetivised by offering a paid entry where you will receive a sweet medal and a certificate at the end of the month!
If you know someone that is a smoker and you want to support them then please feel free to forward this to them.
There is a Free Option just to take part, you will get all the resources etc. Every participant that pays for the entry will receive a medal and certificate through the post.
