E. Komo Mai! Welcome to Beginning Hula. You will start by learning Hula basics and the meaning behind each Hula. Introduction to Hawaiian culture and learn some Olelo Hawai'i (Hawaiian language). There are seasonal workshops throughout the year, such as making various styles of leis. This class will prepare each student to be stage ready. Note: A material fee of $5 is due and payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Materials include a notebook. No class on 10/30 and 11/27.

Refunds will not be granted unless class is cancelled. Credits will be issued for the amount of the course if the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is notified before the second class meeting. Online registration transaction fees are non-refundable.
