Recommended: Completed Swimmer 3.
These swimmers will become better at diving, treading water for 30 sec, and swimming underwater. They’ll learn the Swim to Survive® standard, kneeling dives, front somersaults, 10 m whip kick on back and start to develop breaststroke. Front crawl and back crawl are further developed to swim 15 m.
Participants are evaluated based on performance criteria and progress to Swimmer 5 once all criteria have been successfully completed.
PLEASE BE ADVISED: Swimmers and parents are to arrive just prior to class starting. There will be no public swim available during swim lesson times. For those with children under 7 years old, a reminder that you will be required to be on deck while your child is in their lesson.
DISCLAIMER: Children must be enrolled in the correct class for their ability. If you are unsure of your child’s swim level, bring them in for a free swim assessment prior to registration. The assessment can be arranged during any public swim session. If your child has been incorrectly enrolled, we reserve the right to withdraw them.
