About this event
Our hybrid program is perfect for 3rd to 5th graders interested in becoming environmental leaders. Supporting our District’s Community in Action initiative, the class partners with the Surfrider Foundation’s Blue Water Task Force. Students and their families will enjoy a beach clean-up, learn about water testing, explore native plants and geology, and participate in engaging lab demonstrations. In class, they’ll develop leadership skills and critical thinking, write a persuasive essay, and present their work to our High School Student Environmental Advocacy (S.E.A.) club, inspiring future environmental actions.
