Description
Birding is quickly becoming one of the most popular outdoor hobbies, for good reason! Whether you already call yourself a birder or you’re just interested in learning a little more, this class is for everyone. We’ll learn various ways to bird, practice some bird calls, and go on a walk to see what December species we can find. Our walk will be approximately 1.5 miles on terrain ranging from pavement, gravel, and grass.
For 16yrs & up.
This FREE workshop will count for Criteria II or III or Continuing Education credit for the NC EE Certification program.
Join in Blue Jay's adventure in adult programming! Whether you are an outdoor buff wanting to hone your skills, or a dabbler that would just like to try something new, join the Blue Jay staff to work on some Serious Skills! Criteria II or III or Continuing Ed credit is available for participants in the NC EE Certification Program. Pre-registration is required for this program. Programs are held rain or shine! Please wear clothing and closed-toe shoes appropriate for the weather. Indoor alternative activities are substituted if weather is too inclement to be outside. If you find that you've had a change in plans and can no longer attend, please call to cancel so we may accommodate someone from the waiting list.
