Description
Join us on Saturday, April 26 at 11 a.m. at Historic Oak View for Poetry in the Park. This program introduces young poets to different styles of poems. Participants will be guided to spots of inspiration around the park to craft one-of-a-kind poems. This program is free, but registration is required for all participants. Recommended age: Grades 2-5.Upon arrival, participants should check in with park staff in the Farm History Center (our visitors center building). Please let us know in advance if you or anyone in your group requires accessibility modifications/ADA accommodations. As a courtesy to other participants, the waitlist and the instructor, if you find you have a change in plans and can no longer attend, please email oakview@wake.gov or call 919-250-1013.
