Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Thursday, June 27, 2024.
Have you ever wanted to learn more about the plants and animals that call North Carolina home, both now and in the past? Or wondered how the park’s historic gristmill works? Join us for a hands-on exploration of some of the plants and animals that live at Historic Yates Mill County Park. You’ll also learn about fossils and paleontology as we talk about what lived here long ago; put up trail cameras to document wildlife living at the park today; explore the mill pond by canoe; and discover more than 200 years of the gristmill’s history. For ages 8-12. Cost: $52.
Registration opens at 10 a.m. on February 1!
