Moving History: Oak View and The Great MigrationJoin us Tuesday, 10/8 at 11 a.m. as we explore the largest mass migration of people in U.S. history, The Great Migration, and why people move from one place to another. We'll read a story to help us understand what pushes or pulls people to leave their homeplaces and learn about individuals who made Oak View their home until forces led them to choose to leave it behind.
The program is open to all ages, and is best suited for elementary to middle school-aged abilities. Registration is free, but is required for all participants.
