Welcome to the Port Aransas Swim Team Fall
We look forward to having your swimmer on the team. If your swimmer has not been on our team before, they will need to tryout, Tryouts will be held Sept 3rd. If you feel confident in your swimmer's ability, you can go ahead and register them. If for some reason your swimmer does not make the team, we can refund you!
Tryouts consists of swimming 50 meters in the lap lane. No form or technique required.
Tryouts will be Sept 3rd. If you can not make that day, please contact Coach Katherine to arrange a time.
If your swimmer is involved in other sports or activities, it is ok to make practice one day and make the other sport the other day. As long as they are staying active! I understand it is a busy time of year!
Practice will be Tues & Thurs: 4-5pm for 8&under and 4-5:30pm for 9&up.
They will be required to have a practice suit (one-piece for girls & jammers for boys), good pair of goggles (you can not find good goggles on the island), long swim fins, and a positive attitude!
We work hard in swim but I make sure the kids have FUN! I know the importance of loving a sport in order to excel at it.
Swim Meets are TBD except for the State Swim Meet being held in Victoria , TX Jan 11&12. Please plan on attending.
