Description
The T-Ball program is a co-recreational team sport for ages 4 to 6 years. Our philosophy is to introduce children to the fundamentals of baseball, to encourage sportsmanship, and to promote equal participation in a none-competitive environment.
This is a ten-week program with two practices starting the week of September 9th, before the eight-game season that starts on September 19th.
There will be two practices prior to the season starting on September 19th. After the season starts there will be one practice and one game a week. The 45-minute practices will be held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 6:00pm or 7:00pm depending on the coach's availability. One game will be played on Thursdays at 6:00pm-(early) or 7:00pm (late) depending on your schedule. All practices and games will be held at Encanto Park Sports Complex, 2121 N 15th Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85007, on the ballfield just east of the parking lot.
NOTE:No Games on Thursday October 31, due to Halloween. Teams that practice on Tuesdays will play on Tuesday, and teams that practice on Wednesdays will play on Wednesday of that week.

Any player or coach request must be in the "request prompt" when registering. Late registrant's requests will not be granted.

The coach's commitment will be to hold a practice and play one game each week. Prior to the season there are requirements for background checks, an online training through NAYS and a mandatory meeting. This season's coaches meeting is Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 6:00pm till 8:00pm at the Washington Activity Center 2240 W. Citrus Way. The total amount of hours for a coach during the season is around 24 hours for the ten-week program.
