Description
Come join other active climbers as we play games, teach climbing techniques, and have fun on the wall! Our Youth club is open to kids 5-11 years and is a great way to meet new climbing friends. Our staff will teach climbing skills, safety, and endurance building exercises - all in a fun and friendly environment!
Skills/Fundamentals Learned:
- Climbing skills
- Bouldering
- Top rope proficiency
- Confidence in problem solving
- Become a more self-sufficient climber
- Advancement to next level of climbing
- Improve social connection
- Improve gross motor skills
- Improve life skills such as problem solving, teamwork and sportsmanship
- Increase individual self-confidence
- Create fun, valuable experience for participants
- Level of Instruction: Beginner
- Registration Instructions: Register each child attending; Class requirements: Children 10 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Equipment needed: Climbing equipment provided, but you may bring your own. Closed toed shoes, and a harness are required. Athletic clothing recommended. Climbing shoes (recommended). Any equipment is subject to safety review by Climbing Wall Staff.
