About this event
Intro to Songwriting is led by OLu alum Jada Nikole Northington '18 (recently signed with Columbia Records) who has a passion for mentoring young creative minds and loves helping students in the community to fine-tune their voices and dive into their passions and creative self-expression. In this program, students will have a safe learning space to broaden their scope of songwriting abilities while learning all about the music industry, music history, and understanding music genres. A showcase for the students to show off their talents to their loving families will be held on November 6 at 5:30 pm. This course is one Jada wishes she had during her formative high school years and she is so excited to be bringing it to OLu!
