March Class: " Comparing Similar Forms"A beginner-level nature journaling workshop focused on observing and recording details of flowering plants. The flora of Marin starts to come back to life as temperatures start to warm in March! Early spring is the perfect time to get to know your local flower species by learning to look closely and compare different species to each other.
Recommended Supplies List:
  • Sketchbook with moderate-weight paper that can hold up to writing, drawing, erasing, etc.
  • Drawing instruments (at least 1) - graphite pencil, mechanical pencil, ballpoint pen, etc.
  • Magnifying glass of jeweler's loupe
  • Small ruler
  • Any supplies you'd like for adding color
- Colored pencils - Markers - Highlighters - Watercolors (field pallet and brush pens recommended)
