Adult Beginners Figure Drawing for ages 14+ Instructor: Jah Sunny Oct. 30 - Dec. 11 (No class Thanksgiving week 11/27) Day: Wednesdays Time: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM 6 weeks (M) $144 (NM) $158 Students bring their own supplies Students will bring their own supplies for this comprehensive figure drawing course. You'll learn the basics of gesture drawing and human anatomy as it applies to figure art. The course will cover drawing specific body parts, such as hands, faces, and the full body, using basic shapes to construct the human form. Additionally, you'll explore how light affects the form and understand measurements in body proportions. Each class will begin with a short art history lecture on the old masters' approach to figure drawing, followed by demonstrations from Sunny.
