Adult Encaustic Painting Workshop Instructor: Maria Latour Oct 12 Day: Saturday Time: 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm One Day Workshop (M) $55 (NM) $60 All materials provided In person classes will be held in the classroom. Encaustics is a painting method using hot bees wax and pigments resulting in layers of rich color and is perfect for incorporating other materials like paper and fabric into the wax. Students will explore various encaustic techniques including layering, fusing, incising, embedding and image transfers. Studio safety will also be covered along with tips for setting up your own encaustic studio at home.
