Description
American flags are displayed on government buildings and many other places; and yet many Americans know the evolutionary story of the present-day flag. Did Betsy Ross create the first flag of our nation? This presentation will fill in some of the hidden history and the true story that may not be what was taught in elementary school. Presented by Martha Atkinson, Historical Interpreter with Chesterfield County.
