Description
2 Session ClassSaturdaysJanuary 18 & 259:00am - 11:30amNolensville Rec CenterIn this class, we will experiment with combining watercolors with other fun and exciting media such as colored pencils, gel pens, pen & ink, Acrylics, and chalk. Come and play, discovering that there are no boundaries on what can be created when you get creative both with concepts and supplies. We will explore each technique and create some miniature compositions in the process. This class is for any ability level.
Students will bring their own watercolor materials for this class.
Supply List:
- Watercolor paints (tubes recommended) – best student grade brands seem to be: Cotmans, Grumbacher, Arteza.
- Brushes for watercolor (meaning they have a shorter handle and soft bristles). You will want the following brush shapes: wide flat, large round, small/medium round, very small round, and liner.
- A watercolor pallet
- A pencil and eraser
The instructor will provide the mixed media materials (pens, markers, etc.)
