Holiday White House & Washington D.C. Tour.
This is a one day tour and may occur on December 4, 5 or 6: pending confirmation from the White House.Join the Active Lifestyles Program as we experience the treasured national tradition of visiting the White House during the holidays. Tour the historic grounds and stroll through the spectacular rooms as they are decorated for the holidays. In addition to the White House and Visitor Center Tour, we will partake in a citywide guided tour; visiting select museums and historical locations. Lunch will be included at a popular restaurant. Due to White House guidelines, final dates are pending and will not be confirmed until November 2024. Please make sure you are available on one of the requested tour dates (December 4, 5, 0r 6). Details will be announced once the date is finalized. PLEASE NOTE: For the best chance of touring the White House, we recommend signing up immediately. This is a nonrefundable trip if cancelled after names have been submitted to the White House on September 3rd. Due to the security of this trip, all sales are final and changes cannot be made on or before September 2, 2024. The White House Administration makes all decisions on appointments and are not final. In the unlikely event that a tour is not secured, we will continue with the trip and provide optional tours in its place. Registration deadline: August 23. Call Lucy at 757-247-2451. A detailed list of security information will be shared with the travelers as well as a list of items permissible in the White House during the tour. You may also visit the White House website for specific details.Early registration is recommended since space is limited. Every effort is made to maintain the published itinerary and destinations. However, due to unforeseen occurrences, and for the safety of participants, travel may be restricted or re-routed. For your safety and to maintain privacy, please ensure that you have pertinent information with you regarding your health insurance, medications, emergency contacts and any other health conditions.
