About this event
Take your chess to the next level. Tournament chess is an advanced class that will help your child improve his/her game through puzzles, play, and personal instruction. Students will learn new strategies and be ready to apply new concepts and tactics in their own games, with the goal of participating in local chess tournaments. It is expected that your child has full comprehension of the pieces, the rules, check, checkmate, and basic strategy as these things will not be covered in Tournament Chess.
