Speaker: Dale Lehm
It may be hard to imagine 3,000 ft of ice covering Seattle, but indeed the Puget Lowland was overrun by the Cordilleran Ice Sheet multiple times during the Pleistocene. The story of glacial advance and retreat is written in the landscape around us. Join us as we take a visual tour of our region to see the geologic evidence the ice left behind. This presentation will help you see the natural features of the Seattle area through the eyes of a geologist.
