About this event

This class is limited to 5 students to allow for a more intimate setting. If you want a more personal experience this is the next best thing to individual instruction. This class satisfies Maryland's training requirement for a HQL license. This class is also a prerequisite for those interested in becoming NRA certified pistol instructors. Training provided by an NRA certified instructor. This course is 9 hours long and includes both classroom and range time. The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA affiliation. This is an instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end. You will need to bring eye and hearing protection. The classroom is in Mount Airy MD, and the range is in Owings Mills. If you already have your HQL and if you own a handgun, please bring it with you to class along with eye protection, ear protection, and 150 rounds of ammunition. Please leave your ammunition in your car until instructed otherwise. Class will begin at 9:00AM at: ICEFDT Main Office 1502 S. Main St, #201 Mount Airy, MD 21771 ICEFDT provides a plush conference room in an air-conditioned professional office with a Keurig, refrigerator, restrooms, cozy conference room chairs, and an HD projection screen. This doesn’t get any better! Class fees must be completed at time of registration. Register 2 students and save $20.00!
