Featuring: KEVA, Uptown Girls Honey, Liassandro’s House of Flowers, and Delish Brazilian BitesEver considered starting your own business? Want to hear more about some of the local businesses owned and operated by women? Looking for creative gifts or services for the upcoming holidays? Ginny Ball of KEVA manages a jewelry and accessories company devoted to the creations and designs of local artisans. Jody Conway of Uptown Girls Honey offers handmade gifts of home and body products, pollinator friendly seeds & plants, and products from the hive. Irene Afre of Liassandro’s House of Flowers runs an online floral business which provides a curated collection of vibrant blooms and unique arrangements that reflect the strength, resilience, and creativity of women of color. Vanessa Albertia owns Delish Brazilian Bites which specializes in Brigadeiros, a fudgy dessert that resembles truffles without the hard shell. Each of these women will share a brief presentation of their entrepreneurial journey. Products on display and door prize giveaways.
