Come out and try the fastest-growing sport—pickleball! Classes will be offered for Beginners, Advanced Beginners and Intermediate skill levels.
The focus will be on learning and improving upon the basics of the game: strokes, serves, dinks, footwork and rules. PPR-certified instructor Karl Van Neste will incorporate drills and doubles play into the class.
Pickleball is a paddle/racquet sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles to hit a plastic whiffle ball over a net. Balls and paddles will be available. View skill levels online at www.USAPA.org.
Skill Levels: Beginner (<2.0); Advanced Beginner (2.0 – 2.5); Intermediate (>2.5); Advanced (3.0+ Instructor approval)
