In this course, students will delve into the essential aspects of producing a captivating animated short film. The curriculum is tailored to encompass both 2D and 3D animation techniques, allowing participants to hone a variety of skills crucial to their craft. From mastering frame rates to manipulating keyframes, from perfecting easing techniques to crafting intricate characters and puppet designs, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the art of animation. Moreover, they will also learn the basics of blocking and movement, essential components that bring life and fluidity to their animated creations. Weekly Take Home Artifact – Students will show progress on their animation project Minimum Technology Requirements: Chromebook or iPad, digital camera, cell phone, or similar device
