This graduate course is offered in support of renewing and deepening our understanding and experience of living our way into a contemplative life. Sessions will integrate poetry, story, visual imagery, and practices from Meditating Together, Speaking from Silence: The Practice of Insight Dialogue by Gregory Kramer, PhD. Each week, we will explore various mindfulness practices that help stabilize the mind and body and renew our connection to our senses. As we practice together, we can more fully recognize and rest in the qualities of clear perception, spaciousness, openness, and compassion that are already available within us.
This is offered to those who have had training with basic meditation practices through MBSR or similar introductions.
*All meetings will follow UW Health COVID-19 protocol and policies that are in effect at the time of the class session.
