Description
This class is designed to help you teach your dog the behaviors, skills, and manners they need to become a good companion. You will learn and practice training techniques based on positive reinforcement, including marking desired behavior, verbal praise, and treats. Dogs/ puppies should be at least 6 months of age. Basic companion dog skills include come, sit, down, stay/wait and walking on a loose leash. Owners must provide proof of shots at the first-class meeting. No class on November 26th. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:
Classes may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met prior to start date. City of Lomita will notify registrants and class fees will be refunded or credited. Refund or credit requests must be received 7 business days prior to the first class/activity. Requests must include a completed Refund Request Form and your class registration confirmation. Refunds or credits to your account will be assessed a 20% administrative fee. Refund Request Forms may be picked up at Lomita Park, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Refunds are issued via check or credit card. Only class/activity fees will be refunded. Convenience fees are nonrefundable. Refunds for payments made by check will be mailed within two to three weeks after the refund request form is submitted and approved in the form of a check. Refunds for payments made by credit card will be refunded to your credit card. Transfers, credits or refunds for medical reasons require a doctor's/health plan documentation and will be pro-rated from receipt of notification if class/activity has begun. Medical transfers, credits or refunds will not be assessed the 20% administrative fee.
