About this event
Explore the intersection of poetry and imagery to craft individual interactive artbooks! This class will include aspects of poetry-writing, watercolor painting, and book-making, led by our wonderful alternating instructors. Both instructors will provide guidance and feedback, allowing students to experiment with pen, ink, and watercolor for their illustrations. By combining each element - from prose to composition and page design, students will develop a better understanding of both the creative thought process and fabrication itself. After exploring two to three different book forms, students can “present” their finished books with a poetry reading event and optional public display. All experience levels are welcome.
