Students will begin by learning hand-building techniques to create from their imagination. Pottery wheel demonstrations will follow, giving an introduction to developing uniform shapes. This class explores topics of form, texture, patterns, and glazing, while teaching basic studio responsibilities and cooperation. Projects are both functional as well as sculptural. All experience levels are welcome. All students are asked to review the 2024-25 ceramics studio guidelines provided in a Welcome Email ahead of their first class in the space.
