Description
This 2-day workshop will provide participants with basic skills and techniques to create mixed media 2D artwork. This program focuses on images from nature put together with abstract shapes and colors using various artistic mediums. Mediums include acrylic paint, handmade papers, and photo images, allowing for a rich tapestry of texture and meaning that can bring the fragmented aspects of reality to life in vivid and unexpected ways. Most materials are provided to create one mixed media painting.
A Journey of Discovery in Expressing Yourself through Mixed Media Artwork.
This workshop will provide participants with advanced skills and techniques to create mixed media 2D artwork. This program focuses on images from nature and the participant that are put together with abstract shapes and colors using a combination of various artistic mediums. Including acrylic paint, handmade papers and photo images allowing for a rich tapestry of texture and meaning that can bring the fragmented aspects of reality to life in vivid and unexpected ways. Some materials provided to create one to two mixed media paintings.
