Description
Guided eco-cruises are educational boat tours designed to increaseconservation awareness about local wildlife and sensitive coastline habitats in New Hanover and Brunswick. Topics explained during the boat ride will include: salt marsh function, wetland plants, and strong emphasis on shorebird/water bird ecology and identification. Common Species are: Brown Pelican, Terns, Gulls, Willets, American Oystercatcher, Herons, and Black skimmers.Supplies needed: Sunblock, water bottle. Parking is paid, so please bring a credit card or pay on the mobile app for your vehicle. Carpooling is encouraged.
