Description
This welcoming course is personalized for the absolute beginner as well as artists with more experience who wish to enhance their skills or paint in a group setting. Color theory, composition, the illusion of depth & volume, & various painting techniques are among the broad range of topics explored as we learn from observation, references, imagination, & group discussion. Course is ongoing, synergistically multi-level, & repeat enrollment is encouraged as we continue to work on projects and advance our skills; both beginning & continuing artists are guided to achieve their goals. Supply List: Students should come with a sketchbook (8.5 x 11 inches or larger), pencil, & eraser to the first class where the full supply list will be distributed. Enroll in Session 1 now and Session 2 by 1/30 and receive a 10% discount off Session 2 tuition.
